Introduction

This section displays GIS Views created in Geoscope Desktop. GIS views could be saved & updated to the server. GIS views tile are automatically generated.

Content of a Gis View

Static layers: 2D Views (Tile Map Service) and/or WMS Views (OpenStreetMap, Bing map, custom WMS server map, etc.)
Dynamic layers: Clickable points which overlap pixel points of entity layers

Interaction with GIS Views

Top-left corner:

Zoom button +
Zoom button -
Fit to entity layer extent
Entity selection button (20 maximum)
Unselect all entities button

Note

Playing with mouse wheel also permits to change current zoom level on Gis View

Note that the visibility of measure points entities and overlays and legends is function of a minimum zoom level fixed in Gesocope Desktop.

Left-bottom corner:

Local date time when tiles of the GIS view being generated

Auto-refresh mode: Click on the switch button and enter an interval to active the auto-refresh mode

Popup displayed to choose the interval for auto-refresh

Note

The auto-refresh mode will be deactivated automatically once leaving the current gis view page.
User can select multiple entities by doing a Shift + Left-click on entities.
User can unselect multiple entities by doing an Alt + Left-click on entities.

Top-right corner:

Layer selection/deselection in order to show/hide corresponding layers

Bottom-right corner:

Map projection information
View projection information
X/Y coordinates

Plot Graph / Display Data grid

On GIS views, according to the GIS View type, users can select one or multiple Measure Points (BLUE highlight color) / Measure Groups (PURPLE highlight color) to:

Plot a Time-Graph for all selected Measure Points (Daily average or Detailed modes)
Display data grid for one of the selected Measure Points
Plot a Section graph for one of the selected Mesure Groups
Plot a Time-Graph of all included Measure Points for one of the selected Measure Groups
Plot a Distance to Face graph for one of the selected Measure Points (available only if a progression layer exists in the GIS view).

Tips

Users can open Time Graph or Data Grid in a new tab by pressing the key 'alt' when left clicking the top menu item.
